Kurt Busch was the first title winner under the NEXTEL sponsorship and the new Chase format. He is an American professional auto racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE for Chip Ganassi Racing. He is the 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series champion, 2017 Daytona 500 winner, and currently, the longest-tenured active driver in the Cup Series in terms of career starts. He is the older brother of two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch.
